Day 14

So sorry I have been lazy about posting to my blog for the past week-oops. Everything is going great! I have definitely lost weight! I have my weight in and measurements tomorrow, so I will happily update then. Also tomorrow I get my new diet plan based on my caloric needs. I have been consuming about 1100 for the past 14 days. I am honestly a little bored with my diet, as it calls for a slice of bread here and there and I still have yet to bake any GF bread. So I have stuck to 3/4 cereal and yogurt for breakfast for 2 weeks at breakfast. Today, I switched it up with some oatmeal. The rest of the day is more fun- I guess lol. I am very concerned with my calories and it makes eating less enjoyable. ;-o
I will be back tomorrow with my weight in and measurements!

Day 7

Yesterday, I had to make up Wednesdays workout with a non Bio Force machine workout. It was all cardio, as the key did not work for the gym door. I haven't done that kind of running for a long time! It was up and down stairs, long distance and up and down a steep ramp. Let's just conclude that my legs were rubber after that! I am doing great with the diet, although I need to calculate the calories on paper today, so I dont get in trouble with Depew tomorrow.
Not much new to report, except this program requires exercise 6 days a week! I am not allowed to do anything but cardio and strength training on the Bio Force machine. They only muscles that haven't been screaming at me are my ab muscles. I have 3 kids, so I need the abs to cry daily. I will have to ask the coach if I can do that on my own or can he bump that requirement up.
Needless-to-say, I am SO sore and need to add a few more calories into my day so I have more energy. I have been eating 1000-1100 calories all week. It's not quite enough for an energetic Jaimey.

Day 3- 5

Howdy there! I am on day 5 on my program and my hubby and I are already seeing results! I have been super sore this week and hungry- trying to adjust to half of my regular caloric intake. I am currently consuming 1,000-1,200 calories a day. The problem with this adjustment, is the fact that when I exercise regurally, my metabolism turns into crack and I am always hungry!! This is great for weight loss and such, but rough for energy.
I missed my Wednesday workout due to hubby working overtime, so I will be making up that workout tomorrow (sat) at 9am. I have been instructed to perform 60 minutes of cardio today and tomorrow, giving me one day off, Sunday. Yikes...but so worth it!

I am looking forward to the weigh in after week 2!

Day 2

Day 2 was actually quite good. I woke up with renewed energy and cleaned all day. I was happy even when stress entered my day. I love exercise! I was sore today and a little hungry. Unfortunately when you cut your caloric intake in half, that is bound to happen. ;-)
My workouts are scheduled for 7 pm m-th. Tonights workout was good. Started off with running up the stairs for 10 minutes and then moved inside for the Bio Flex workout. I had a new partner tonight and he was very helpful! I have noticed that the men in the program seem to have a better understanding of the home gym equipment.
I am looking forward to tomorrow, except I need to start converting all of my food into a caloric breakdown. I forgot to mention that all of my food has to be logged, with the exact breakdown of calories, carbs and fat.

Day 1

So on day one, I woke up feeling awful, so the diet was no big deal. My exercise time is at 7pm M-TH every week. We started out with cardio- running up the World Gym stairs for 10-15 minutes; wow, that will luckily  get easier soon! Then worked out on the Bio Force for an hour. There is a different workout scheduled for every day, so it will always keep us on our toes. Made a workout buddy- Amanda. She is cool. :-)
Over all had a good first workout, but wished I felt less flu-ish. Tomorrow will be be better.

I was also informed that I may not post pictures of my progress on a public domain, such as this Blog or FB.

First weigh in and before pictures

Hello! Today was an exciting day. I had my first weigh in for the transformation program and the professional 'before' photos taken. That was a neat experience. So many lights and cameras; not to mention the various stations where I had to leave my before outfit. Also, my gym outfit that I will have to take pictures in after the program is complete in 12 weeks. Not to forget the embarrassing candid photos I provided- yikes!
My initial weight in results were as follows:
9/25/2010
Weight:
153.4 lb  (0)
Fat Mass:
45 lb  (0)
Body fat Percentage:
29.33 %  (0)
Lean Mass:
108.4 lb  (0)
Navel Inches:
34.25"  (0)
Total Inches:
209.75"   ()
I was told that my ideal fat mass is 18% and that this goal is possible with this program. I will be measured and photographed every two weeks!
The machine that I am testing is the Bio Force 2.2. I am not sure if I will be using this machine every time I go to the gym, but this is the company/product paying for the program.
So, I am scheduled to hit the gym 4-5 times a week at 7pm. Yikes. I need to quickly figure out how to properly eat my dinner and exercise before bedtime.
The one thing that I am excited about is the flexible diet plan! My friend Raine recently finished the Dave Depew Transformation program for the Proform AB Glider machine and her diet was VERY strict and boring. So, needless to say, I am happy for my small blessings. :-)
I will be back to check in after my first workout on Monday, September 27th.
